After 19 minutes of play, Barra Funda F.C's Vágner da Rocha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner da Rocha in the 21st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Waldemar Matorin took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Teun Verbraecken to make any attempt to save it. 30 minutes into the match, Barra Funda F.C's goalkeeper Teun Verbraecken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Matorin. In the 33rd match minute, Barra Funda F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Moura to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Barra Funda F.C's goal looked a bit too open when D.J. Gol came free, but Teun Verbraecken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barra Funda F.C's Teun Verbraecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Hitz in the 41st minute of play. The wind increased when Waldemar Matorin made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Barra Funda F.C's zone, Gerardo Hitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teun Verbraecken came out of the goal and Gerardo Hitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute D.J. Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teun Verbraecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Fabinho Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Smitt in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Mineiro in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute, Waldemar Matorin made a precise shot to the right of Teun Verbraecken. Barra Funda F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gerardo Hitz hit a great ball. Teun Verbraecken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Teun Verbraecken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Matorin in the 88th minute of play. Teun Verbraecken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Samuca Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barra Funda F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Black Rose 1979.
