An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 9th minute of play forced EsTeRGoN's goalkeeper Jurand Marczyniec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jurand Marczyniec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gasteiz Latorre's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. EsTeRGoN's Jurand Marczyniec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save EsTeRGoN from getting a goal against them. Jurand Marczyniec was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gasteiz Latorre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Gasteiz Latorre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jurand Marczyniec was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 38th minute Kerimhan Tüzeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremy Avellana. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were furious when Ipar Capitan was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 74th minute, one of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Dep. Soc. Rodo. Rodo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
