If Anaia Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Manuel Lavandero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Guga Tavares made a huge save. Arvin Larsson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agnaldo Negri got free with Guga Tavares in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murillo Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Guga Tavares made a huge save.

Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José Loyola in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, GLocos do Cerrado FC's Murillo Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guga Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, GLocos do Cerrado FC's goalkeeper 周克珂 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel de Lara.
