Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The Bem Bolado fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Bem Bolado's Marcelinho do Valle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Marcel Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Marcelinho do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto Alcântara was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. José Augusto Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Sanches in the 15th minute of play. Bahia's supporters rose to their feet, but Percy Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Percy Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Marcel Sanches ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Augusto Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bahia's Waldemar Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Bem Bolado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto Neto to maneuver through the defense. José Maria Branco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hernani Correia. The audience was convinced that Marcel Sanches's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto Alcântara was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

With an all-out effort, Bem Bolado's José Augusto Alcântara threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcel Sanches, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldemar Lara in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Branco saved Bem Bolado from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Marcelinho do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto Alcântara was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Marcel Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bem Bolado played a much better game than Bahia and deserved their victory. The Bahia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
