Erlantz Bermejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthew Benjamin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Erlantz Bermejo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Matthew Benjamin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Kaleta in the 19th minute of play. 董战伟's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurino Serena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 董战伟, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erlantz Bermejo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthew Benjamin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.D. Alcorcón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nereo Acosta in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Nereo Acosta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matthew Benjamin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute, Belo Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D. Alcorcón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Matthew Benjamin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo in the 30th minute of play. If 董战伟 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by 董战伟 in the 34th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 董战伟 struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belo Alvarez made a kick off.
