Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Jorge Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şevket Çağa in the 36th minute of play. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Dalli in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Berdoi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Zülfü Sungur could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Pankracy Glogowski however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şevket Çağa in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Armani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Ciro Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when David Banegas came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Andrew Dalli in the 47th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Pankracy Glogowski kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrew Dalli to make the kick off. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Banegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şevket Çağa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Armani having to interfere. Jorge Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Eloy Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Esmeralda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Calvino couldn't finish the play. Zülfü Sungur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pankracy Glogowski having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Ciro Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Dalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Andrew Dalli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zülfü Sungur, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ciro Ferdinand hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Calvino came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Çağa in the 79th minute of play. Esmeralda AFC's Nicasio Fonda was substituted for David Banegas. Andrew Dalli scored 3-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pankracy Glogowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Lázaro Cuartio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Dalli in the 91st minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Matxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Esmeralda AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlético Atlanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
