Remy Van Eyken ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remy Van Eyken got free with Gaizkine Nobo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute Urdin Alabern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Urdin Alabern notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström. In the 82ndth minute of the game Samuel Etoo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrad Vrolijcx ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Rigoberto Piearres managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. ReyPoxo's Gaizkine Nobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Piearres in the 94th minute of play. Gaizkine Nobo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrad Vrolijcx in the 96th minute. The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. ReyPoxo's Samuel Etoo started the play with his kick off. In the 100th minute, Rigoberto Piearres made a precise shot to the right of Gaizkine Nobo. ReyPoxo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Haithabu FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
