The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gordon Horgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Paulo Brasil's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Dráusio Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahsin Atacan in the 7th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Brasil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gordon Horgan. Luiz Paulo Brasil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahsin Atacan in the 22nd minute of play forced Intendencia AD's goalkeeper Dráusio Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráusio Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahsin Atacan in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan got control of the ball when Luiz Paulo Brasil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dráusio Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brion Murphy, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bradner McCready hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Tahsin Atacan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráusio Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgun Oktay in the 42nd minute of the match. Pedro Luís Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes COPERNICUS TORUŃ got a freekick which was hit by Bradner McCready. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Intendencia AD's Dráusio Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hickey Callaghan in the 50th minute of play. After 52 minutes Intendencia AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Artuir Ramsey who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Artuir Ramsey almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Intendencia AD's Dráusio Tróia did a great save. In the 54th minute, Artuir Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gordon Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Brasil in the 61st minute of play. Intendencia AD's Walmyr Loyola was substituted for Luiz Paulo Brasil. If Pedro Luís Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Tahsin Atacan managed to get in a good position for a shot. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's supporters rose to their feet, but Tahsin Atacan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráusio Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to COPERNICUS TORUŃ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Artuir Ramsey hit a great ball. Gordon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Loyola in the 82nd minute of play. Gordon Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Walmyr Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gordon Horgan. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmyr Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 95 minutes, Walmyr Loyola made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Intendencia AD had won after a very even match.
