With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Mendes in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genzo Wakabayashi saved VILLARREAL UNITED from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Mendes in the 23rd minute of play forced VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Golo Oolo got free with Mathias Wijasmara in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Golo Oolo made a kick off. Otong Pink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genzo Wakabayashi having to interfere. If Sindo Barberá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johan Bremming hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Lucky Star's goal looked a bit too open when Miro Titos came free, but Mathias Wijasmara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, VILLARREAL UNITED's Genzo Wakabayashi got control of the ball when Slamet Ashraff tried to sneak it across the goal line. Genzo Wakabayashi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teddy Bear went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Slamet Ashraff got free with Genzo Wakabayashi in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Lucky Star booed when VILLARREAL UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Golo Oolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genzo Wakabayashi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Bear, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Lucky Star's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
