The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig-Åke Rydelius during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, The Heren Istarion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Rydelius to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Samuel Jamison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dep. Moron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Heren Istarion the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Hjortberg during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dan Hjortberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. A collision led to The Heren Istarion getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Arne Aronsson hit a great ball. With a little luck, The Heren Istarion's Bengt-Åke Håkansson got control of the ball when Rashad Werner tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Heren Istarion's Stig-Åke Rydelius got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Lindman in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ari Giles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 played minutes The Heren Istarion got a freekick which was hit by Olov Vennerberg. Calvin Welsh shot from long distance in the 35th minute, but Bengt-Åke Håkansson was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Wilbert Kearns's late challenge caught a The Heren Istarion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilbert Kearns helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Wilbert Kearns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Oskari Ilari shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ari Giles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Thurman Clay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dep. Moron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Heren Istarion the free kick. The supporters of The Heren Istarion booed when Dep. Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thurman Clay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Oskari Ilari sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ari Giles skillfully saved the ball. After the first half The Heren Istarion were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kurt Lindman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Ari Giles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakob Andreasson. Ari Giles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Lindman in the 54th minute of play. Ari Giles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kurt Lindman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match, Kurt Lindman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ari Giles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to The Heren Istarion getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Roland Åkerberg hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes Dep. Moron got a freekick which was hit by Wilbert Kearns. Bengt-Åke Håkansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rashad Werner went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Kurt Lindmans short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Ari Giles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Rashad Werner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ari Giles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Lindman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Hjortberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The The Heren Istarion supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Heren Istarion would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
