In the 24th match minute, Yelonki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Majerowicz to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes Yelonki got a freekick which was hit by Zachary Kieca. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yelonki's goalkeeper Dariusz Soszka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 97 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Celedonio Endira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dariusz Soszka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Racing Club's Celedonio Endira that got to make the kick off. Celedonio Endira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dariusz Soszka came out and tried to block the shot, but Celedonio Endira slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 106th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Racing Club had won after a very even match.
