The audience was convinced that Aureliano Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmacio Pello was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Uriel Cordearo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Cordearo was the one to do the kick off. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Van Dijck in the 54th minute of play. Markus Smart's late challenge caught a AFC FUSION's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Smart helped the player get up and apologised. Markus Smart kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello got control of the ball when Aureliano Karlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Aureliano Karlo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dalmacio Pello. Aureliano Karlo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, AFC FUSION's Dalmacio Pello threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mari Balotelli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFC FUSION walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
