Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Bonet in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Daustad's Mats Bentsen to fire away a dangerous shot which Umberto Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Luis Bonet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daustad's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Bonet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Umberto Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Bonet in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lu Xing Song made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Mieszko Pilsudski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match Pégasus F. C. got a corner. Daustad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Daustad fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pégasus F. C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
