The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Marino Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER got a freekick which was hit by Aymerick Laporte. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's Filiberto Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Svensson in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Markus Svensson got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Valdomiro Matos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anders Lundqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Markus Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anders Lundqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marino Montrelle went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mats Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Filiberto Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigvard Dahlkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Filiberto Sancho made a huge save. The supporters of Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Dzierwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Matos came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Golden Lions FC's Markus Svensson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filiberto Sancho. That made the score 1-2 after 37 minutes of play. Filiberto Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Svensson in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro Matos in the 40th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aymerick Laporte kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Sigvard Dahlkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Aymerick Laporte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mats Nyström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Markus Svensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filiberto Sancho. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markus Svensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Matos in the 56th minute of the match. If Mats Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Lundqvist made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Roegelio Igual sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roegelio Igual in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anders Lundqvist saved Golden Lions FC from getting behind. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patrick Vidal was slow to take the kick. During this time Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Patrick Vidal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anders Lundqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 69 played minutes Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER got a freekick which was hit by Richard Velits. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's Tom-Lukas Queraria was substituted for Valdomiro Matos. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's Augusto Consalvi was substituted for Marino Montrelle. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Mats Nyström. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Cosme Larpe replaced Georg Termander. In the 70th match minute, Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Velits to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Markus Svensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filiberto Sancho was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 73 minutes, Markus Svensson made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's Filiberto Sancho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Golden Lions FC's İbrahim Efe Topdemir was substituted for Marcelo Steven. In the 76th minute Roegelio Igual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Consalvi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anders Lundqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 79th minute, Markus Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Golden Lions FC from getting a goal against them. Filiberto Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Svensson in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Neiva hit a great ball. Filiberto Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Dahlkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Igor Dzierwa hit a great ball.

Golden Lions FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
