After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Flavinho Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavinho Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matro Perramon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Flavinho Queiroz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matro Perramon. The goal made the score 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vidal Cantabrana during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidal Cantabrana to maneuver through the defense. Universitario's Matro Perramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Queiroz in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Erasto Tella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match, Percy Neto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matro Perramon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Universitario's Matro Perramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Queiroz in the 28th minute of play. Flavinho Queirozs short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Matro Perramon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Flavinho Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Flavinho Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matro Perramon having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavinho Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Araújo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ booed when Universitario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidal Cantabrana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Willian Almeida got a free kick in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Claudinei Pombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geleberto Acaro. Andy Somellera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Claudinei Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Garcia Gorostieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Danilo Varela came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Varela couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ had played much better football throughout.
