Juan Laffitte started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Carlos Eduardo Penha made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Gauargi. los nadies's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Ferrari's zone, Juan Laffitte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Carlos Oliveira came out of the goal and Juan Laffitte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo Henrico succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Juan Laffitte kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Eduardo Penha during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of los nadies booed when S.C. Ferrari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Albano Teodor notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of S.C. Ferrari's João Carlos Oliveira. João Carlos Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto Gauargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Teodor got free with João Carlos Oliveira in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Carlos Oliveira was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Albano Teodor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albano Teodor really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Pablo Henricos short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got João Carlos Oliveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vivaldo Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Gauargi having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Juan Laffitte put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of João Carlos Oliveira. Carlos Eduardo Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, los nadies's Juan Laffitte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. João Carlos Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Henrico went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to los nadies getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Memo Funes hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Eduardo Penha to make the kick off. João Carlos Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Laffitte in the 52nd minute of the match. João Carlos Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, S.C. Ferrari's Amauri Pernambucano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-2. When Pablo Henrico fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored los nadies's protests and gave Pablo Henrico a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes los nadies got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Henrico. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.C. Ferrari's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jude Bellinger was slow to take the kick. During this time los nadies's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Cristofol in the 68th minute of play forced S.C. Ferrari's goalkeeper João Carlos Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes S.C. Ferrari got a freekick which was hit by Willian Paes. A collision led to S.C. Ferrari getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Filipe Souza hit a great ball. João Carlos Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Henrico in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the S.C. Ferrari defense, Juan Laffitte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Oliveira. The S.C. Ferrari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Oliveira should have stopped the shot. When Jude Bellinger fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored los nadies's protests and gave Jude Bellinger a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Carlos Eduardo Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Gauargi was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the los nadies players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
