Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when David Tabb made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Erasto Tella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matro Perramon came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Formentera's Leonides Manny. But to his dismay, Leonides Manny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Illan in the 11th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Matro Perramon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Santo Illan sped through Universitario's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matro Perramon. In the 22nd match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geleberto Acaro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Laureano Viviano got a free kick in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Marin came free, but Matro Perramon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Universitario's Matro Perramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Illan in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Universitario defense, Leonides Manny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matro Perramon. The Universitario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matro Perramon should have stopped the shot. If Santo Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Leonides Manny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matro Perramon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Tabb in the 45th minute of play. Leonides Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Camilo Mondragon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andy Somellera went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Manny came free, but Matro Perramon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leonides Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Guillermo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matro Perramon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Universitario's Matro Perramon got control of the ball when David Tabb tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Tabb received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matro Perramon came out and tried to block the shot, but David Tabb slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 67th minute. Formentera's Leonides Manny got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Modesto Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Matro Perramon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karlo Gavilanes to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Guillermo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matro Perramon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Universitario fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Formentera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
