In the 4th minute, Erasmo de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, S.C. Ferrari's Váldson do Vale tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. João Carlos Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamílton Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Carlos Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. João Carlos Oliveira came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Duarte Costa. But to his dismay, Duarte Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. João Carlos Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marquinhos Baiano went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Flavinho Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Carlos Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willian Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Pombal having to interfere. S.C. Ferrari's Amauri Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Váldson do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.C. Ferrari's João Carlos Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Valle in the 45th minute of play. When Duarte Costa fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's protests and gave Duarte Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Costa to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavinho Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. João Carlos Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Costa in the 51st minute of play. João Carlos Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Hamílton Valle sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's Carlos Eduardo Penha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Pombal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 60th minute of the match Hamílton Valle completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hamílton Valle a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of S.C. Ferrari booed when Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th play minute Flavinho Queiroz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised João Carlos Oliveira. 0-4. In the 69th minute, Danilo Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, S.C. Ferrari's Váldson do Vale tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marquinhos Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Penha scored 1-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinei Pombal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavinho Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but João Carlos Oliveira made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's Carlos Eduardo Penha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Pombal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Flavinho Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Ferrari the free kick. Flavinho Queiroz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Claudinei Pombal came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Ferrari's Carlos Eduardo Penha. But to his dismay, Carlos Eduardo Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Willian Paes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinei Pombal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
