U21 Ireland's Richard Duggan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Ireland from getting a goal against them. Ferry Hebels struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Richard Duggan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Netherlands. U21 Ireland's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
