Pindorama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xiao Jian Bo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toninho Bertassi saved Pindorama from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Pindorama's zone, Jiang Ang Xiao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Bertassi came out of the goal and Jiang Ang Xiao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xiao Jian Bo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toninho Bertassi saved Pindorama from getting behind. Toninho Bertassi came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Galacticos's Xiao Jian Bo. But to his dismay, Xiao Jian Bo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Xiao Jian Bo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Bertassi having to interfere. When Los Galacticos's Xiao Jian Bo in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pindorama's goalie prevented a goal. Toninho Bertassi came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Galacticos's Xiao Jian Bo. But to his dismay, Xiao Jian Bo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pindorama's Toninho Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Mo in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Pindorama's goal looked a bit too open when Xiao Jian Bo came free, but Toninho Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36th play minutes Xiao Jian Bo shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Toninho Bertassi and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Los Galacticos booed when Pindorama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jiang Ang Xiao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 45 minutes on the clock, Kléber Vasconcelos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 45th minute, one of Pindorama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pindorama. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Los Galacticos made a substitution. Ye Liang replaced Xiao Jian Bo. Toninho Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Mo in the 60th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Pindorama got a freekick which was hit by Renan Pontes. After having played for 62 minutes, Jiang Ang Xiao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Galacticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jiang Ang Xiao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toninho Bertassi made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ye Liang sent off a good shot on target. Pindorama's Toninho Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Pindorama from getting a goal against them. Wu Mo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pindorama's zone, Jiang Ang Xiao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Bertassi came out of the goal and Jiang Ang Xiao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a left leg Toninho Bertassi saved Pindorama from getting behind. 80 minutes into the game, Los Galacticos's Jiang Ang Xiao nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toninho Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Jiang Ang Xiao scored 0-7 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toninho Bertassi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 minutes, Jiang Ang Xiao made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Pindorama's Toninho Bertassi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the game, Ye Liang lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Toninho Bertassi. The Pindorama fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Galacticos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
