Angelo Ferraris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Hortêncio Duarte made a huge save. Angelo Vettori scored 7-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hortêncio Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Vettori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Hortêncio Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Ferraris who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Hortêncio Duarte when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hortêncio Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Vettori, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Hortêncio Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Cesate were the better team. Cesate's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
