In the 17th minute Lucrețiu Nicodim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moise Vlădean in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Mitxel in the 24th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Costel Decuseară hit a great ball. Genílson Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ysmael Marfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Mitxel's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Genílson Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genílson Peixoto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. DINAMO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Genílson Peixoto scored to the left of an out of position Ysmael Marfil, making the score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Mitxel in the 67th minute of play. Basarab Zburliş kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ysmael Marfil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Mitxel went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genílson Peixoto in the 77th minute of the match.
