Przemyslaw Bulkiewiczs short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Christiano Arce to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Juliusz Czeszyk hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Cupial to maneuver through the defense. Zbigniew Kalinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Ceresso in the 23rd minute of the match. Barnaba Borcz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Natã Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Kalinowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbigniew Kalinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Paraense in the 30th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Newcastle United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for SORRISO E. C.. Gernando Sampaio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zbigniew Kalinowski. 2-1. After 43 minutes, David Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SORRISO E. C. and the Newcastle United players grew even worse after the yellow card. When David Rossi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. David Rossi hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, one of SORRISO E. C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SORRISO E. C.. Remigiusz Wodaszak shot the penalty kick right outside the post.

The wind increased when Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz made the kick off in the second half. Christiano Arce came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United's Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz. But to his dismay, Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 59th minute Arkadiusz Rojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes SORRISO E. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Remigiusz Wodaszak who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Remigiusz Wodaszak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christiano Arce quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Christiano Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Serafim Silveira got a free kick in the 71st minute. Newcastle United's Remigiusz Wodaszak got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Serafim Silveira hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz came free, but Christiano Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wlodzimierz Sokolski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as SORRISO E. C.'s Válter Ceresso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbigniew Kalinowski. That made the score 3-3 after 86 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Ceresso in the 90th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Zbigniew Kalinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Arce having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Christiano Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 98th match minute, SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. SORRISO E. C.'s Christiano Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Sokolski in the 101st minute of play.
