Janusz Zakrzewski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filip Garaj firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Simon von Liechtenstein fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFK Petržalka's protests and gave Simon von Liechtenstein a yellow card for diving instead. Filip Garaj had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Janusz Zakrzewski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Janusz Zakrzewski notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AFK Petržalka's Filip Garaj. Filip Garaj was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Janusz Zakrzewski came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Bękarty Wojny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janusz Zakrzewski couldn't finish the play. Teobald Gierasik kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Bękarty Wojny's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Fossum came free, but Ubaldo Lluterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the game Bogumil Zieba made a throw-in which Janusz Zakrzewski played forward. 21 minutes into the game, AFK Petržalka's Martin Fossum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Lluterio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Janusz Zakrzewski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Filip Garaj skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 26th minute, Felix Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bękarty Wojny's Grzegorz Miodek got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ubaldo Lluterio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Fossum's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Martin Fossum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Fossum in the 35th minute of play forced Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Ubaldo Lluterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Martin Fossum made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Lluterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Fossum scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Lluterio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Fossum struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ubaldo Lluterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFK Petržalka. When Arkadiusz Scislowicz fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bękarty Wojny's protests and gave Arkadiusz Scislowicz a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bękarty Wojny made a substitution. Miromir Majkowski replaced Arkadiusz Scislowicz. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomáš Javorčík made a kick off. Ubaldo Lluterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Fossum in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Martin Fossum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Lluterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Fossum in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wang Lin Xiao to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Martin Fossum hit a great ball. Bękarty Wojny's Ubaldo Lluterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Bękarty Wojny from getting a goal against them. AFK Petržalka made a substitution. Arnalt Teresa replaced Rick Haremeijer. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikola Krstović in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Lluterio saved Bękarty Wojny from getting behind. In the 77th minute Tomáš Javorčík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Lluterio came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović. But to his dismay, Nikola Krstović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Bękarty Wojny's Gustaw Lichorobiec quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wang Lin Xiao, made in the 83rd minute of the game. After 83 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Antov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Javorčík in the 88th minute of play forced Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Ubaldo Lluterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wang Lin Xiao hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Janusz Zakrzewski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. AFK Petržalka played a much better game than Bękarty Wojny and deserved their victory. The Bękarty Wojny players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
