This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Leo Eliasson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Leo Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Birila in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Marcus Nordmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gnosjöasd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Nordmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Tibia y Peroné getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Romulo Azevedo hit a great ball. Dan Nordlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Quintin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Nordlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Nordmark's late challenge caught a Tibia y Peroné's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Nordmark helped the player get up and apologised. Marcus Nordmark kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gnosjöasd's zone, Rolando Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Eliasson came out of the goal and Rolando Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Åke Gunnarsson during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ciriaco Quintin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Quintin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Nordmark went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute of the match Marc Fredriksson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciriaco Quintin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Allan Högberg fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnosjöasd's protests and gave Allan Högberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gnosjöasd getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Allan Högberg hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gavino Viviano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tibia y Peroné's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Viviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Eliasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gnosjöasd's Leo Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Birila in the 73rd minute of play. Marcus Nordmark got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Gnosjöasd getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marcus Nordmark hit a great ball. Ciriaco Quintin was a little too slow when Dan Nordlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Soter in the 80th minute of play forced Gnosjöasd's goalkeeper Leo Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 82 minutes on the clock, Ivar Rolandsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gnosjöasd! Rolando Valente placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Gavino Viviano took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Eliasson. Leo Eliasson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
