With an all-out effort, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Tadeo Distiratsu threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nelson Frazier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Amadeo Cai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Chapui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Cai in the 6th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Wilfredo Gitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jarana FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, Jarana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Guillelmus to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddy Mendez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Cai in the 30th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Ian Chapui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Gitano came free, but Ian Chapui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 53rd minute, Nelson Frazier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Distiratsu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 57 minutes into the match, Glen Hoff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Distiratsu. Jarana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glen Hoff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Jackson Shipley replaced Ervin DeJesus. After 65 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Cassidy. Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jackson Shipley in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Parr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Genaro Parr quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ian Chapui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Kaxen in the 86th minute. When Jarana FC's Amadeo Cai in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. Oliver Rivera kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
