Bruno Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Ian Chapui made a huge save. Genaro Cassidy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ildefonso Rayman having to make a save. After 8 played minutes MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Avellaneda. After having played for 12 minutes, Artemio Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Avellaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Mendez. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Miami Futbol Club's zone, Artemio Avellaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Chapui came out of the goal and Artemio Avellaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Ian Chapui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Marques. Bruno Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willie Vogt in the 22nd minute of play forced MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's goalkeeper Ildefonso Rayman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eddy Mendez fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Miami Futbol Club's protests and gave Eddy Mendez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Eddy Mendez got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ian Chapui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the game Amadeo Teyo made a throw-in which Bruno Marques played forward. 36 minutes in the game Eddy Mendez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Willie Vogt. In the 40th match minute, MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Teyo to maneuver through the defense. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Willie Vogt got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Racing Miami Futbol Club getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eddy Mendez hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bruno Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ian Chapui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Jackson Shipley was substituted for Nicky Cavazos. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Denny Godwin replaced Willie Vogt. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Chan Clet was substituted for Bruno Marques. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Racing Miami Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomás Franco took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Evelio Romano managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Merrill Banks's late challenge caught a MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merrill Banks helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Merrill Banks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Chapui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chan Clet in the 78th minute of the match. Ian Chapui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chan Clet in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Racing Miami Futbol Club defense, Chan Clet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Chapui. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Chapui should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Chan Clet came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chan Clet couldn't finish the play. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
