Raúl Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Marques in the 20th minute of play. Delfim Dantas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Marques went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd match minute, Coritiba Foot Ball Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Marques ran back to his position shaking his head.
