Abel Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Adrien Tanneau made a huge save. Ricart Futebol Clube's Eriberto Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Eriz in the 6th minute of play. Amadeu Martins hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Ramalho in the 9th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Rafail Rusev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eriberto Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Adrien Tanneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Ramalho in the 14th minute of the match. Amadeu Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Valette Stars got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Martins. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Ramalho in the 20th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Ramalho. Eriberto Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafail Rusev went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Abel Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrien Tanneau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Rafail Rusev came free, but Eriberto Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrien Tanneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Ramalho came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrien Tanneau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. José Augusto Tepedino hit a great ball. Eriberto Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafail Rusev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Valette Stars were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rafail Rusevs short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Eriberto Pinheiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eriberto Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafail Rusev in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrien Tanneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Ramalho in the 60th minute of play. Saul Eriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eriberto Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Eriz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 75th minute Abel Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Tanneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's José Augusto Tepedino got a free kick in the 76th minute. Rafail Rusev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Abel Ramalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrien Tanneau was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After 81 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Natã Tasso. Eriberto Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafail Rusev in the 89th minute of the match. Rubens Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Pierre-Antoine Landemaine took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eriberto Pinheiro. Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Valette Stars supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valette Stars would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
