Jim Hellström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Ramalho in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Hellström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arne Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute of the match Ricart Futebol Clube got a corner. Preator Edikt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reinaldo Palmeira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ricart Futebol Clube's José Augusto Tepedino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jim Hellström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 92 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Hans-Jürgen Beckenbauer. Fellipe Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
