Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abel Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Färid Mondragón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by He Wei Feng in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ricart Futebol Clube's José Augusto Tepedino. After a rather tough play, Armada's He Wei Feng got a free kick in the 6th minute. Färid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Armada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reinaldo Palmeira was slow to take the kick. During this time Ricart Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. Ricart Futebol Clube's Reinaldo Palmeira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Färid Mondragón in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Eriberto Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. He Wei Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Ramalho in the 17th minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Färid Mondragón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He Wei Feng made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ricart Futebol Clube's José Augusto Tepedino. In the 26thth minute of the game Abel Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armada's Färid Mondragón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Armada's Ştefan Grama seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ştefan Grama the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Armada protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ştefan Grama had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 30th match minute, Armada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Grama to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Reinaldo Palmeira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Amine Barka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Natã Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Abel Ramalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Färid Mondragón was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rivaldo Esquerdo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, one of Armada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Armada. Färid Mondragón had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Abel Ramalho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Färid Mondragón made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Diego Maurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Ramalho in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Färid Mondragón saved Armada from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Färid Mondragón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Färid Mondragón came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho. But to his dismay, Abel Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 76th minute, Abel Ramalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ricart Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When Natã Tasso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Natã Tasso hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Färid Mondragón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Armada's Färid Mondragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Ramalho in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Abel Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Färid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Ramalho came free, but Färid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rivaldo Esquerdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Pinheiro having to interfere. Armada made a substitution. Liviu Buceceanu replaced Róbert Benkó. The Armada manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ricart Futebol Clube to win.
