In the 3rd minute Abel Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Ramalho in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramón Neto saved BRASIL.Sp from getting behind. In the 9th minute, Dorival de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 13 minutes, Abel Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Ramalho in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BRASIL.Sp's Ramón Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Ramalho in the 17th minute of play. The throw-in from César Silva in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ricart Futebol Clube's José Augusto Tepedino. 20 minutes into the game, one of BRASIL.Sp:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The excitement rose when Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho after 22 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-2. In the 27th minute of the match BRASIL.Sp got a corner. Ricart Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Roberto Orange ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on BRASIL.Sp's corner Zé Roberto Orange fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eriberto Pinheiro quite easily take care of the ball. Ramón Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Ramalho in the 28th minute of the match. Akiba Teben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ricart Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Roberto Orange was slow to take the kick. During this time BRASIL.Sp's players had a chance to rest. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kazimierz Cichowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Jerônimo Gomes with Kazimierz Cichowski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in BRASIL.Sp's zone, Abel Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Neto came out of the goal and Abel Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ricart Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Roberto Orange was slow to take the kick. During this time BRASIL.Sp's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Zé Roberto Orange almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ricart Futebol Clube's Eriberto Pinheiro did a great save. Eriberto Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Orange in the 65th minute of play. Abel Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Neto having to interfere. Frank de Moraes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ricart Futebol Clube's Eriberto Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akiba Teben in the 69th minute of play. After 78 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Mesquita. 79 minutes into the game, Aírton Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRASIL.Sp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ricart Futebol Clube the free kick. Eriberto Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by BRASIL.Sp's Akiba Teben. But to his dismay, Akiba Teben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 87th minute, Frank de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ricart Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
