Abel Ramalho had several of the Newcastle United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Zbigniew Kalinowski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Abel Ramalho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 20th playminute. When Newcastle United's Wlodzimierz Sokolski in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 41st minute, Abel Ramalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbigniew Kalinowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Newcastle United were furious when Daniel Walkowski was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 44 minutes into the game, one of Newcastle United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The wind increased when Wlodzimierz Sokolski made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Abel Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbigniew Kalinowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Cupial to maneuver through the defense. Zbigniew Kalinowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Ramalho went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Wlodzimierz Sokolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Eriberto Pinheiro made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zbigniew Kalinowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricart Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Newcastle United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reinaldo Palmeira took the corner. William dos Santos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Reinaldo Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoni Cupial received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eriberto Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ricart Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
