Jim Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Sandström in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match AIF got a corner. Preator Edikt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bianco Tacco ran over to the corner to take the kick. AIF's Marek Szostak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Tătaru in the 11th minute of play. Marek Szostak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Tătaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Marek Szostak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horia Tătaru in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes AIF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luís Gustavo Barbosa who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luís Gustavo Barbosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marek Szostak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Sandström in the 24th minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jim Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Kullgren came free, but Jim Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Frisk. Marek Szostak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Tătaru in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Preator Edikt getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Albert Örnberg hit a great ball. Marek Szostak came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru. But to his dismay, Horia Tătaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Carl Kilman made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kurt Berglund however managed to control. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Horia Tătaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Preator Edikt's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Tătaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marek Szostak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

53 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Tătaru came free, but Marek Szostak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horia Tătaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marek Szostak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Alfred Sandström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIF and the Preator Edikt players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Preator Edikt booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Alfred Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marek Szostak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Preator Edikt's zone, Alfred Sandström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Hellström came out of the goal and Alfred Sandström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Salqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Salqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Tătaru in the 76th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Marek Szostak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Horia Tătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Szostak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marek Szostak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Blomqvist in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Horia Tătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Szostak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Preator Edikt fans cheered their team off the field, for while AIF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
