The audience thought a goal was coming when Iman Raweyai got free with Holger Vennerlund in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Karl-Ove Söderström made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Wilza. FC Bestone 716's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Iman Raweyai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Holger Vennerlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of FC Bestone 716 booed when Gnesta Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Vallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Bestone 716's Necip Selman got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Bestone 716 fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when FC Bestone 716's Iman Raweyai looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Gnesta Oilers getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Birger Skoglund hit a great ball. John Dahlquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Wilza having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Gnesta Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Faik Malgır. The throw-in from Rozy Panggabean in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gnesta Oilers's Birger Skoglund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iman Raweyai in the 39th minute of play forced Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Holger Vennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Iman Raweyai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute John Dahlquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Wilza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iman Raweyai kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Holger Vennerlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nana Arwana in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Ove Söderström was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Gnesta Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faik Malgır to maneuver through the defense. Holger Vennerlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iman Raweyai's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Necip Selman kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Kasper Vallman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Wilza having to make a save. In the 62nd minute Iman Raweyai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Gnesta Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Iman Raweyai came free, but Holger Vennerlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rozy Panggabean took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Holger Vennerlund. Holger Vennerlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Holger Vennerlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iman Raweyai's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Holger Vennerlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rozy Panggabean went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iman Raweyai in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Vennerlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When FC Bestone 716's Iman Raweyai in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gnesta Oilers's goalie prevented a goal. Holger Vennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nana Arwana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iman Raweyai in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holger Vennerlund saved Gnesta Oilers from getting behind. FC Bestone 716's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
