Lars Klementsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Kasprzak, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Hasta Alfonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zbigniew Kalinowski. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 30 minutes of play, Glentown FC's Hasta Alfonso made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbigniew Kalinowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Hasta Alfonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbigniew Kalinowski. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbigniew Kalinowski should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Glentown FC's Harry Sandström got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lars Klementsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Glentown FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Walkowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Newcastle United's players had a chance to rest. Newcastle United's Daniel Walkowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lars Klementsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hasta Alfonso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-11. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasta Alfonso got free with Zbigniew Kalinowski in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Hasta Alfonso notched a goal, 1-12, to the right of Newcastle United's Zbigniew Kalinowski. Zbigniew Kalinowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Hasta Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Glentown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasta Alfonso couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Glentown FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Newcastle United throughout the match.
