Javier Abin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Eneko in the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Anier Eneko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Abin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 8th minute Ian Emander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Abin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, TibaDons's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Gavilanes came free, but Pepe Le Petit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Abin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Pepe Le Petit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villarinos in the 15th minute of play. After 15 played minutes TibaDons got a freekick which was hit by Ian Emander. Pepe Le Petit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santi Gavilanes in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Anier Eneko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Abin was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Dennis Bellomo lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TibaDons! TibaDons:s Pepe Le Petit showed great skill when he stopped Michael Pardaves:s penalty. 27 minutes into the match, Ian Emander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Abin. ...Pingue S.C....'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Emander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Pierce Gerrard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Abin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Díaz Principe got free with Pepe Le Petit in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pepe Le Petit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Freitas in the 36th minute of play. Pepe Le Petit didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santi Gavilanes went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Javier Abin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Emander in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Díaz Principe could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Pepe Le Petit however easily saved by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Freitas was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the TibaDons defense, Reinaldo Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pepe Le Petit. The TibaDons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pepe Le Petit should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Santi Gavilanes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pepe Le Petit was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santi Gavilanes in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepe Le Petit saved TibaDons from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Ian Emander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TibaDons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Javier Abin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierce Gerrard, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match TibaDons got a corner. ...Pingue S.C....'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uku Kosk ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 69th minute Reinaldo Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Le Petit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Abin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pepe Le Petit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Pardaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ian Emander kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. TibaDons's Pepe Le Petit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Freitas in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, John Donnelly tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Javier Abin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of ...Pingue S.C.... booed when TibaDons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uku Kosk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, TibaDons's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Pardaves came free, but Pepe Le Petit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Pardaves in the 94th minute of play forced TibaDons's goalkeeper Pepe Le Petit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The TibaDons supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TibaDons would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
