Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 3rd minute of play. Turgut Soyuer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Colon having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Colon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute of the match Chinese CJ Youth Academy got a corner. Juniors FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Turgut Soyuer ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 19th match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Barco to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Chinese CJ Youth Academy getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Lu Zhan Jian hit a great ball. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Isias in the 24th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Lázaro Colon threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Turgut Soyuer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Uriel Isias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Turgut Soyuer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lázaro Colon. Turgut Soyuer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. David Abad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Isias went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Lázaro Colon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turgut Soyuer's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uriel Isias to make the kick off. Lázaro Colon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Uriel Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Abad having to interfere. Juniors FC made a substitution. Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 74th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Turgut Soyuer came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turgut Soyuer made a great header on Chinese CJ Youth Academy's corner, it was just that Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon managed to reach the ball for a save. 90 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Abad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucjan Falkiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lázaro Colon having to make a save.
