Jacinto Cuadrado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute Turgut Soyuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Luan Pombo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agnaldo de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Krzynowek in the 15th minute of play. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Luan Pombo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Radoslaw Kocieniewski in the 17 minute of the game. If Turgut Soyuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacinto Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Banaszak came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radoslaw Kocieniewski made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Arkadiusz Banaszak however managed to control. 36 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Cuadrado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Turgut Soyuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 43rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jacinto Cuadrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Turgut Soyuer came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turgut Soyuer couldn't finish the play. Boca Juniors's Rainerio Obis was substituted for Jacek Krzynowek. After having played for 73 minutes, Turgut Soyuer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Turgut Soyuer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
