The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Cervezanegra A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Carvalho. Pablo Solari might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vlado Delchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Solari ran back to his position shaking his head. Vlado Delchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Solari, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Vlado Delchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Cervezanegra A.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Newpi Academy.
