The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Håkan Deckbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fan Xing Cheng in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Bengtsson came free, but Håkan Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Manfred Valström came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the IFK Göteborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfred Valström couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sentis Ciblis sped through IFK Göteborg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Håkan Deckbergh. Håkan Deckbergh came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Pacífico FC's Sentis Ciblis. But to his dismay, Sentis Ciblis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. IFK Göteborg's Håkan Deckbergh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan Xing Cheng in the 27th minute of play. Håkan Deckbergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fan Xing Cheng in the 41st minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Costa Pacífico FC's Fan Xing Cheng made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Deckbergh was left in no man's land by his defense there! IFK Göteborg's Håkan Deckbergh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Göteborg from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Vitaliy Krylatov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Costa Pacífico FC's Omar Castellon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Håkan Deckbergh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Costa Pacífico FC made a substitution. Iván Luis Zamorano replaced Fan Xing Cheng. The wind increased when Iván Luis Zamorano made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Costa Pacífico FC's Lennart Bengtsson made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Deckbergh was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the IFK Göteborg defense, Bernt Göransson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Håkan Deckbergh. The IFK Göteborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Håkan Deckbergh should have stopped the shot. After 60 minutes of play, Costa Pacífico FC's Bernt Göransson made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Deckbergh was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Iván Luis Zamorano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Deckbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Sentis Ciblis made a precise shot to the right of Håkan Deckbergh. IFK Göteborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. 70 minutes into the game, Costa Pacífico FC's Lennart Bengtsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Håkan Deckbergh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Göransson in the 73rd minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Håkan Deckbergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Axel Pååk fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Göteborg's protests and gave Axel Pååk a yellow card for diving instead. 79 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Luis Zamorano came free, but Håkan Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Sentis Ciblis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Deckbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Bernt Göransson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Håkan Deckbergh was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. 87 minutes into the game, Iván Luis Zamorano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Håkan Deckbergh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Göransson in the 90th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Håkan Deckbergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Costa Pacífico FC's Bernt Göransson in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lukas Carsted scored 17-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Håkan Deckbergh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Göransson in the 97th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Håkan Deckbergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tang Xi Qing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Costa Pacífico FC had played much better football throughout.
