Hansjörg Wastl came out of the goal and Osmane Süleymanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Tepedino in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Hansjörg Wastl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso. Imre Hellinger's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Hansjörg Wastl skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Osmane Süleymanov kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Felippe Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jonathan Lopez hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Damião Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Hansjörg Wastl made a huge save. Ni Guang Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Prata in the 36th minute of play. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Pinhote FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naldo Valladares took the corner. The corner ended in Valdemar Tepedino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong did a great save. Ni Guang Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Rosen in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hansjörg Wastl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ni Guang Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Borges in the 46th minute of the match.

Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Yan Schmidt replaced Norberto Prata. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Luís Ceresso made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Ni Guang Yong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan Schmidt. With an all-out effort, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Ni Guang Yong threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yan Schmidt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hansjörg Wastl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ni Guang Yong having to interfere. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Luís Fabiano Sena was substituted for Henrique Borges. Naldo Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Sílvio Luís Ceresso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hansjörg Wastl having to make a save. Ni Guang Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Schmidt in the 81st minute of the match. Ni Guang Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiel Desmet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ni Guang Yong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Ceresso scored 2-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hansjörg Wastl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Paolo Argi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pinhote FC's Gualter Távora quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 94th minute Emiel Desmet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ni Guang Yong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Pinhote FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luís Fabiano Sena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pinhote FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
