The audience thought a goal was coming when Robben Spoelberchs got free with Denis Urtats in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's José Pedro Carneiro got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Qiu Yuan Jun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Qiu Yuan Jun came free, but Wincent Dropinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Robben Spoelberchs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knight Of Dawn's Denis Urtats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denis Urtats made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Robben Spoelberchs sent off a good shot on target. Knight Of Dawn's Denis Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robben Spoelberchs in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Castanheiro SC's Alfredo Stefano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 29 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Robben Spoelberchs. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Castanheiro SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Fonda was slow to take the kick. During this time Knight Of Dawn's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Knight Of Dawn's Denis Urtats got control of the ball when Alfredo Stefano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Urtats was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Alfredo Stefano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfredo Stefano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Robben Spoelberchs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Denis Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Knight Of Dawn got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Caton. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Qiu Yuan Jun was the one to do the kick off. Porfírio Quirinos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Wincent Dropinski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 57 minutes into the game, Qiu Yuan Jun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knight Of Dawn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castanheiro SC the free kick. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when Knight Of Dawn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qiu Yuan Jun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knight Of Dawn's Danilo Matro was substituted for Gregorio Caton. In the 59thth minute of the game Robben Spoelberchs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knight Of Dawn's Denis Urtats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Knight Of Dawn's Bruno Norino was substituted for Klement Belko. In the 63rd minute of the game Luís Prestes made a throw-in which Fernando Toscano played forward. Qiu Yuan Jun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wincent Dropinski came out and tried to block the shot, but Qiu Yuan Jun slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 65th minute. If Qiu Yuan Jun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wincent Dropinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiu Yuan Jun in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Qiu Yuan Jun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castanheiro SC's Wincent Dropinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. Denis Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robben Spoelberchs in the 88th minute of the match. Luís Prestes made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fernando Toscano immediately put the ball in play. If Qiu Yuan Jun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wincent Dropinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiu Yuan Jun, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
