Qiu Chuan Ran came out of the goal and Joaquin Austin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Qiu Chuan Ran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Austin's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Atletic Elooo's Joaquin Austin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qiu Chuan Ran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Austin in the 16th minute of the match. Qiu Chuan Ran made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Joaquin Austin sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes in the game Menelaos Damianos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Raimundo Ventura. 0-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Rodolfo Faria elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Lixandro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Clemente Mancaş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Atletic Elooo getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fabiano Maranhense hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Maranhense came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes, Venedikt Ukraintsev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. and the Atletic Elooo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venedikt Ukraintsev hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Donato Tolino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Qiu Chuan Ran skillfully saved the ball. Clemente Mancaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Ventura in the 40th minute of play.

In the 51st minute Donato Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Lixandro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Clemente Mancaş made a huge save. A collision led to Atletic Elooo getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Donato Tolino hit a great ball. With his leg Clemente Mancaş managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd minute Joaquin Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletic Elooo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Venedikt Ukraintsev was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Rodolfo Faria managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 69 minutes into the match, Grégory Gardette notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran. Qiu Chuan Ran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clemente Mancaş. That made the score 1-3 after 73 minutes of play. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Witold Piszczor was substituted for Israel Carvalhal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Faria got free with Clemente Mancaş in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute of the match, Raimundo Ventura got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clemente Mancaş was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Qiu Chuan Ran came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atletic Elooo's Grégory Gardette. But to his dismay, Grégory Gardette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Rodolfo Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Clemente Mancaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Atletic Elooo booed when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Macena didn't get a good kick on the ball.
