Osvaldinho Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Grzegorz Bierfass managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Chillán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grzegorz Bierfass was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grzegorz Bierfass to make the kick off. In the 91st minute, Ahmet Yahya Burçak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zhuo Xuan Yu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Chiquinho Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Inter de Chillán's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
