The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Brian Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Sylwester Majorski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren. Matthias Lindgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cyryl Adamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Majorski in the 23rd minute of play. Matthias Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Adamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pawel Madej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Bern in the 27th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Waclaw Kaczanek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olimpia Koło's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dexiators the free kick. Waclaw Kaczanek kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Hao in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Dexiators's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Adamus came free, but Matthias Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Adamus in the 44th minute of play forced Dexiators's goalkeeper Matthias Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthias Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Hao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Bern stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matthias Lindgren stood somewhat misplaced when Sylwester Majorski came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 55 minute. Jiang Hao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthias Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Majorski in the 65th minute of play. Sylwester Majorski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Lindgren having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Dexiators's Kennet Fernström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pawel Madej narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matthias Lindgren made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Jiang Hao sent off a good shot on target. Tymoteusz Misiorowski hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Olimpia Koło defense, Tymoteusz Misiorowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pawel Madej. The Olimpia Koło fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pawel Madej should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jiang Hao got free with Matthias Lindgren in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren got control of the ball when Jiang Hao tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Dexiators booed when Olimpia Koło was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Majorski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Max Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
