In the 54th minute, Abraham Beauval reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bolli Stopar. The goal made the score 1-3. The audience was convinced that Raphaël Lallemand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bolli Stopar was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. The Les Pionniers de Touraine supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Les Pionniers de Touraine would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
