Epifanio Boniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute Fletcher Uchiha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Kinnaird's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Boniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Mipul™'s Leo Heli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Mipul™ from getting a goal against them. The Grütly fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Grütly's Tomas Oliviero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience was convinced that Tomas Oliviero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Heli was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Mipul™'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Oliviero came free, but Leo Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Oliviero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Leo Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mipul™'s Joaquin Cordero was substituted for Arthur Kinnaird.
