Panos Nikologiannis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Olentzaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Sotiris Zacharakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Zacharakis in the 12th minute of play. In the 25th minute Sotiris Zacharakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Boniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sotiris Zacharakis went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Guido Olentzaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Panos Nikologiannis came out and tried to block the shot, but Guido Olentzaro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Panos Nikologiannis was a little too slow when Elpidio Gabrio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Grütly's Fidel Gomesano was substituted for Guido Olentzaro. Grütly's Faustino Quintin was substituted for Marcelino Eguerdi. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santiago Silva to make the kick off. Grütly's Epifanio Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Silva in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Santiago Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Boniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 71st minute Cecilio Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Nikologiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Santiago Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Epifanio Boniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Panos Nikologiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Gabrio in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Grütly's goalkeeper Epifanio Boniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zheng Yang Zhen. After a rather tough play, Grütly's Victorio Tauro got a free kick in the 87th minute. Epifanio Boniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petros Mirtsos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petros Mirtsos scored 4-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Boniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zheng Yang Zhen took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Boniel. Epifanio Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-6. Zheng Yang Zhen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Epifanio Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ΠΑΟΚ FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
