Cobresal's Arneil Kurth managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fredrik Ryberg in the 2 minute of the game. Gunnar Lidberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Scapini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute of the match Cobresal got a corner. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Pirinchev ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Cobresal's Ionuț Aluneanu got control of the ball when Cesar Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dino Scapini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Lidberg having to interfere. In the 10th minute Cesar Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Aluneanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionuț Aluneanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Domingues in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Quintero came free, but Gunnar Lidberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Gregorio Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Lidberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Cristo Danel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cobresal's Ionuț Aluneanu. Ionuț Aluneanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Cesar Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Mörknäs Electric Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Domingues. After 26 minutes of play, Cobresal's Gregorio Quintero made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Lidberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Cesar Domingues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionuț Aluneanu. Cobresal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesar Domingues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Gregorio Quintero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesar Domingues's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Ionuț Aluneanu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Domingues was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Cesar Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionuț Aluneanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 60 minutes into the match, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Gunnar Lidberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Quintero. Cesar Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Cobresal made a substitution. Kenny McCormick replaced Gaitano Valdovinos. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cobresal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fredrik Ryberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Mörknäs Electric Vikings's players had a chance to rest. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Fredrik Ryberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ionuț Aluneanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 94 minutes into the game, Roberto Vildosola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2.
